During this episode with Amanda Jones and Siria C. you'll get to hear songs about one of Country and Alt-Country (most genres for that matter) Music's favorite songwriting subjects...CARS!!!

Whether they be Mercury's, Chevy's, Corvettes, or good old Cadillacs this episode is full of songs about cars!  This week the girls had quite the time trying to narrow down to just a couple of hours of music --but they accomplished this almost impossible feat. by settling on tunes from George Strait, George Jones, Tom Waits, Rhett Akins, The Kinks, Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker, Heidi Newfield, The Clash, Chris LeDoux, Rick Trevino,  and much much more!

It’s no secret that Amanda and Siria like to have a good time.  If it’s not going to have some fun to it, it’s pretty much a given that they want no part of it.  Despite the fact that they may not necessarily live up to the “party girl” reputations they’ve sometimes been given, they do hit the town more than the average individual and they can probably hold their own when it comes to slamming the SHOTSSS!!!  So in this episode, they thought they’d try to shed some light on how to keep your “good timin’ man or woman” at home or at least attempt to, as well as discussing why or why not some of the suggestions made by some of Country and Alt-Country’s greatest stars may help this cause.

Do you have suggestions on how to keep a “good timin’ man or woman” at home? Send them to atthetavern@intraffik.com or post them as a comment here!
